How do implants work?

This post fuses to the bone in your jaw and acts like the root of your tooth. A replacement tooth is then mounted to the implant in the place where it is most likely to blend in with the look and feel of your own natural teeth.

Implants are a very successful dental solution, but only if placed properly. Dr. Silverstein's certified Periodontists first evaluate the situation and decide whether fixed or removable restorations are the appropriate course of action. The implants are then placed by the Periodontist while Dr. Silverstein completes the final restoration of the crowns.
